Dual Credit Information!
Students who plan to take Dual Credit classes at TVCC for summer 2014 or fall 2014 will need to take the TSI.  The test will be given at TVCC in Terrell on May 2, 2014.  Students must complete the TSI Registration Procedure below three weeks prior to the testing date.  Testing reservations are given on a first come first serve basis.  You will receive an e-mail confirmation from TVCC if you are accepted for the test date.

TSI Registration Procedure:

  1.  All students must log onto this website

https://as400hcc.tvcc.edu/PreAssessmentActivity/inv1.jsp and take a pre-assessment activity.

  1.  Print the certificate showing proof of completion of the pre-assessment activity.
  2. Write student’s name, phone number, e-mail address, and the date you want to take the TSI.
  3. Fax the certificate to TVCC at fax #972-563-4961.

Day of Testing Information:

  1. Arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.
  2. Student must have a photo ID.
  3. Pay $35 cash, check, money order or credit/debit card.
  4. TVCC will give you a note to bring back to the NFHS attendance clerk to excuse your absence on your test date.

TVCC enrollment and registration information and dates will be coming soon.
Due to the limited testing dates and three week notice prior to testing,
we are sending the TSI information now.

Students who are currently enrolled in dual credit may need to test if taking a course next year
and did not pass that portion of the entrance exam last year.  (Example: student passed English
on THEA and taking Dual Credit English now.  Students wants math next year but failed that
portion of THEA.  This student has not met the requirements for math and will need to test.)

UPDATE: Due to the high volume of North Forney High School students registering for the Dual credit classes summer/fall 2014, TVCC has added additional TSI dates.  The dates added are exclusively for North Forney High School; therefore, please state that you are a North Forney High School student when registering for the test.  The following dates have been added:
