Tickets are available at the door, or may be purchased in advance from any choir student.
Students will no longer be allowed to charge in the cafeteria after May 16. Please mark your calendars and make sure your lunch account is clear of fees. Thanks for your help!
Attention all seniors! We would love to brag on your accomplishment of being accepted to a college, higher institution of learning, and/or the military. Therefore, we are asking for seniors to bring a copy of your acceptance letter to your counselor so we can take a picture of you with your acceptance letter. We will place it on the Road to Life bulletin board. The bulletin board is located in the hallway outside of the counselors’ office. Please bring them in ASAP!
P.S.Our counselors’ aides will deliver passes during 3rd period to take pictures.
- Apply to TVCC
- Complete and pass all necessary TSI testing and preadministration assessments
- Provide NFHS counselors with required paperwork no later than April 28, 2014
- Pay fees, textbooks, etc. associated with any college course
- Read and comply with course syllabus regarding any dates, assignments, and testing
TSI Registration Procedure:
- All students must log onto this website
https://as400hcc.tvcc.edu/PreAssessmentActivity/inv1.jsp and take a pre-assessment activity.
- Print the certificate showing proof of completion of the pre-assessment activity.
- Write student’s name, phone number, e-mail address, and the date you want to take the TSI.
- Fax the certificate to TVCC at fax #972-563-4961.
Day of Testing Information:
- Arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.
- Student must have a photo ID.
- Pay $35 cash, check, money order or credit/debit card.
- TVCC will give you a note to bring back to the NFHS attendance clerk to excuse your absence on your test date.
TVCC enrollment and registration information and dates will be coming soon.
Due to the limited testing dates and three week notice prior to testing,
we are sending the TSI information now.
Students who are currently enrolled in dual credit may need to test if taking a course next year
and did not pass that portion of the entrance exam last year. (Example: student passed English
on THEA and taking Dual Credit English now. Students wants math next year but failed that
portion of THEA. This student has not met the requirements for math and will need to test.)
UPDATE: Due to the high volume of North Forney High School students registering for the Dual credit classes summer/fall 2014, TVCC has added additional TSI dates. The dates added are exclusively for North Forney High School; therefore, please state that you are a North Forney High School student when registering for the test. The following dates have been added:

NFHS felt it would be a good idea to reinforce our expectations for appropriate dress and behavior at prom.
North Forney High School has the responsibility to maintain standards that we feel are consistent with our district and our community. We will impose and enforce the following expectations.
Dress Code for Dance
If the attire is questionable, students are encouraged to show their evening wear to the administrators beforehand to determine if it is appropriate for the dance.
Girls will wear semi-formal, formal gowns.
Strapless and spaghetti strap will be permitted.
The following will not be permitted:
-No extremely low cut dresses where cleavage is showing
-No two piece formal gowns/pants where midriff is showing
-No backless gowns (extreme)
-No see through gowns
-No gowns where it is cut up very high on the side
-Gowns can NOT be shorter than 2 inches from the knee
Slacks/dress pants/ Dress shirts
The following will not be permitted:
-Open toed shoes for boys
-No jeans or shorts
-No bandanas or baseball caps
-No tennis shoes
-No torn clothing
Students will not be permitted into the dance. No money will be refunded.
If a NFHS student’s date is from another school, it is the responsibility of the NFHS student to inform his/her date of these expectations.
